Research project - Software modelling the management of special events and festivals
Supervisor: A/Prof Chris Stevens
The event and festival industry is worth billion of dollars to the Australian economy. Their management of is related to project management. However there are substantial differences. The software used to manage in an area of uncertainty and complexity, such as the event environment , has proved to be inadequate.
The researcher seeks to model the actuality of event and festival creation over time in order to create a system that can be used in its management.
