How to apply

Local Students

  • Most school leavers should apply for admission through UAC - The Universities Admission Centre. Information is distributed to year 12 students in schools.
  • The Flexible Entry Scheme allows students who are close to published Universities Admission Index (UAI) cut-offs to apply and be considered for Commonwealth supported places and gain entry based on assessment of Engineering ability, leadership skills and other related criteria. Full details on the Flexible Entry Scheme
  • It is likely that the minimum official UAI cutoff for Civil Engineering for 2008 entry will be approximately 85.00. If you think you will be in the 80-85 UAI range and wish to be considered under the Flexible Entry scheme it is important you register now.
  • Flexible entry also applies to our higher UAI streams. Hence a student with a UAI of 90.00 may be considered for the 92.00 UAI Structures stream provided they register now.
