Graduate School of Engineering

The University of Sydney established the Graduate School of Engineering in 1995 to manage graduate education and research in the Faculty of Engineering. Having a single School for all engineering graduate activities and research leads to a stronger focus on research, better coordination of graduate programs, greater opportunities for interdisciplinary work, and gives students and researchers greater intellectual and social cohesion.

The Graduate School of Engineering reinforces the University of Sydney's plan to increase its research effort over the coming decade.
