The interaction of surface waves with arrays of non-circular vertical structures cylinders
Arrays of vertical structures are known to produce complex non-linear responses in an incident wave field. The interaction is being investigated in non-circular cylinders to determine the relationship between wave conditions and loading for a range of structure configurations. In addition to wave loads, we are interested in determining the wave absorption capabilities for structure arrays, both for coastal protection and wave energy conversion applications.
