- Prof Ian Jones has interests in Greenhouse gas mitigation; ocean wave predictions; satellite measurement technologies; engineering innovation; environmental loading on offshore structures; underwater robotics; underwater acoustic imaging.
- Dr Jannette Frandsen
- Dr Tim Finnigan is interested in environmental fluid mechanics and marine renewable energy. His research includes work on natural convection, internal hydraulics, ocean wave energy and tidal current energy conversion.
- A/Prof Phil Mulhearn researches Satellite remote sensing of oceans and Ultrasonic detection objects buried in the seabed.
- Dr Dick Watkins has interests in Fluids engineering; wind energy; water energy; wind tunnel testing; wind effects of and on buildings; fluid flows in pipes and channels.
- Dr David Blair is researching underwater acoustic imaging.
